The HAL Cheetal is a re-engined Cheetah. Its first flight was in January 2003. On 2 November, 2004 the helicopter set a world record of highest landing record up until then; it landed in the Himalayas at 7,070 meters. The aircraft features: artificial horizon, directional gyro, Flight Monitoring System (FMS), Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), and modular warning lights; a total passenger capacity of 5.
