Armored twin-turbine gunship version of the UH-2A, developed in 1966. Ordered by the US Navy for Search and Rescue (SAR) and use based off of naval destroyers.
The helicopter is fitted with: chin-mounted minigun turret capable of 4000 rounds of 7. 62 mm fire a minute; two waist-mounted 7. 62 mm machine guns; dual UHF electronics for tracking downed aircraft/crew; stretched acrylic shatter-proof windows; a 200 ft hoist cable.
