Description

A fundamental step to enabling pitch and roll control from the rotor alone for rotor-borne aircraft.

The contract was awarded by the US Navy to the Pitcairn-Cierva Autogiro Company to convert an XOP-1 fixed wing autogiro to a direct control XOP-2.
