First AHS Dr. Alexander Klemin Award presented

Description

The first award of one of the highest AHS awards. The citation states, "The award honors the memory of an eminent aeronautical engineer, educator, author, and outstanding pioneer in rotary wing aeronautics"  - Dr. Alexander Klemin.

The first award was presented to Igor Sikorsky at the 7th Annual Forum of the AHS.
