First flight of the Hughes Model 369/YOH-6A (LOH competitor)

Description

The aircraft was developed from the Hughes 369 and was one of the proposals that went forward for further evaluation in the US Army/Navy competition to find a new Light Observation Helicopter. The aircraft was originally designated YHO-6A before it was changedin 1962. The type went on to win the LOH competition and became the OH-6A in U.S. Army service (TH-6A in the training role).
