Description
The aircraft was originally produced by a joint company, Bell/Agusta Aerospace Company and was designated the BA609. Pilots were Senior Test Pilot Roy Hopkins and Dwayne Williams. The program was then taken over by AgustaWestland (now Leonardo) and the aircraft is now designated the AW609.
