First flight of a fenestron equipped helicopter (on an SA.340)

Description

The fenestron (or 'fan-in-fin') is a shrouded type tail rotor. It first flew on the second prototype of the  Sud-Aviation SA.340, which would become the SA.341 in production. The first prototype flew with a conventional tail rotor.
