Description
The C.30 was a prototype Direct Control Autogiro developed after intial experimental flying with a modified Cierva C.19 Mk V. An excellent description of this aircraft and the 'Direct Control' capability is provided in NACA-AC-196. Note: The exact date of this milestone fell somewhere in March/April 1933 - 31 Mar 1933 has been used as an approximate date.
