First flight of the PZL-Świdnik W-3 Sokól

Description

The W-3 Sokól was the first helicopter to be fully designed and serial-built in Poland, under close co-operation with the Mil Design Bureau in Moscow. Wieslaw Widnik was the test pilot.

The first indigenous Polish design was the I.L. BZ-1/SP-GIL.
