First flight of the P-V Engineering Forum XHRP-X (first prototype of the Piasecki HRP-1 Type series)

Description

This was the first flight of the experimental prototype of Frank Piasecki's concept for a U.S. Navy rescue helicopter. The pilots were Frank Piasecki and George Townson.
