Vertipedia Database Policies

Vertipedia has been designed to provide a valuable resource to all those who are interested in the rotorcraft industry. The objective is to provide the definitive source of rotorcraft information. The scope of the database is intended to cover all rotorcraft including historic, out of service, and any rotorcraft currently operating or under development. The database does not cover brochure or projected rotorcraft.

Vertipedia only draws from information that is readily available in the public domain. The aim is to assemble these data in a form that becomes a useful resource to the end user. Definitive data will always be controlled by the the design authority for any particular rotorcraft. Every effort will be made to ensure concurrence between these data and that in the database.

The effectiveness of the database will be defined by the inputs from all those who use the database and wish to improve the quality and scope of the data contained.

AHS International cannot take any responsibility for any use of the information contained within the database. Data in Vertipedia is not to be used for flight.

Vertipedia frequently makes use of imagery from the U.S. Department of Defense and other international governmental agencies. These images are all in the public domain. The appearance of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) visual information does not imply or constitute DoD endorsement. The appearance of images from other governments does not imply or constitute endorsement from those agencies.
